Jeanine shared the first event which is Gator Week May29th – June 3rd from 7 – 4 PM atWild Florida which is in Kenansville, Florida. This event has freeadmission, but they ask for a small donation that goes toward aWild Florida scholarship fund. This fund helps the Osceola Countyhigh school seniors pay for college. You get to experience aone-of-a-kind themed event with your family.
Healthy Cooking Demos Coupled With The Perfect ExerciseRoutine At Hopkins Park
Kristin then announced Thrive Thursday on June 1stwith healthy cooking demos together with the perfect exerciseroutine. We invite you to come find the best path to a healthierand happier you. Jeanine then introduced a new event called the Towel Scarfsewing class on June 3rd from 8:30 – 10:00 AM.This event will be held at Southern Roots Antiques at 1105 New YorkAve in St. Cloud FL. The cost is $35 per person, and they inviteyou to come make your own towel scarf. These scarves are convenientto wear in the kitchen or while grilling. This is the perfect timeto come and create a unique Father’s Day gift. Ages 7 andolder are welcome and no prior sewing experience is needed, and allequipment and materials will be supplied.
A Vacation Bible School will take place on June 5th– 8th at the Harmony Community School Kristinshared. The event is being put on by the Harmony Community Churchand will be held from 3 PM – 5 PM. You can register online athttps://HarmonyCommunity.church/vbs.
Hurricane Expo June 10th, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM atthe St. Cloud Community Center. You get to speak with emergencyfirst responders and safety vendors. There will be freepreparedness items while supplies last and evacuation plans andeducational displays as well as giveaways and prizes. The cost ofentry is free.
Harmony Florida Summer Market On June 11thAt Harmony Town Square
Next up is the Harmony Summer Market. These are great events,with a lot of great vendors participating. It takes place on June11th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. It will be held atHarmony Town Square. Free movie for kids from 10:30 – 12:15 PM at the St. CloudCommunity Center. This is for kids aged 12 and under. Children mustalways be accompanied by an adult. The featured movie is“Finding Dory” and it is rated PG. They will havesnacks available, and the cost is free.
Bring your blankets and chairs for the movie in the park on June17th from 8:00 – 11:00 PM and join us for a nightof cinema, food, and fun. This is a free event, and you can emailparksandrecreation@stcloudfl.govfor more information.
The Summer Kids Flick on June 20th from 10:30 –12:15 PM. This is a free movie for kids aged 12 and under. Childrenmust be accompanied by an adult. The featured movie will be“How To Train Your Dragon”.
Adult Movie Matinee On June 21st At The St.Cloud FL Community Center
The next event is an Adult Movie Matinee. The movie shown willbe “Down To Earth” starring Chris Rock and Regina King.The movie is about an aspiring black comic who gets a second chanceat life. Then we have Senior Appreciation Luncheon on June23rd from 1:00 – 5:00 PM. This is a free eventsponsored by CM Helping Insurance and will include local doctors,health insurance agencies, music, prizes, and lunch. Space islimited and registration is required by June 15th.

Next up is Adult Lunch & Learn on June 28th from11 – 1 PM. This event is $1.00 per person and will focus onsocial media safety and awareness. Registration is required by June23rd to ensure everyone receives a meal. This will beheld in the Marina Banquet Hall.
