Jeanine shared that the first event happening on Saturday, April1st. The Easter Eggstravaganza will take place indowntown Saint Cloud, FL. They will have face painting, balloonart, kids’ activities, a scavenger hunt, and a visit by theEaster Bunny. This event will take place from 10 – 2 PM.There will be an egg hunt to follow at Veteran’s Park at 2:30PM.

Next up Kristin shared the Home School Sneaker Ball event onSaturday, April 1st from 7 – 9 PM. This event isfor ages 11- 15. You can enjoy dinner, music, dancing with doorprizes, and more.  You can email parksandrecreation@stcloudfl.gov.The cost is $10 per person and there is online registration. Itwill be held at the Saint Cloud community center.

Kids In The Kitchen Taking Place At The St. CloudCommunity Center

Jeanine then shared the Toddler Open Gym on Monday, April3rd from 10:30 – 12:00 at the St. Cloud FL CivicCenter. We invite you to let your toddler run out some energy whileyou enjoy quality time with them doing what they love. The benefitsare growth in motor skills and early brain development as well asenhanced social skills.

Kristin said we have Kids in the Kitchen next and that happensevery Monday from April 3rd – May 1st from 5– 8 PM. It is a 5-week program for ages 10-15. This hands-oncooking class is tailored for juniors chefs to learn tips andtricks for cooking fun, easy and multicultural foods. This eventwill be held at the St. Cloud Community Center. The cost forresidents is $70 and $90 for non-residents and you can alsoregister online.

Jeanine then shared the next event which is for the adults. TheMoonlight Egg Hunt is on Friday, April 7th for ages 21 and up from7 – 10 PM. The event will be held at The Ranch located at5452 Jones Rd. You can contact Parks and Recreation for moreinformation. The cost is $15 per person. There will be music, foodtrucks, vendors, games, fun, and prizes. Bring a flashlight andwear comfy clothes. Food and drinks will be available forpurchase.

Kids Easter Eggstravaganza Saturday, April8th At The Ranch In St. Cloud FL

Kristin shared the next event. The Kids Easter Eggstravaganza ison Saturday, April 8th from 10 – 1 PM. This eventwill be held at The Ranch which will have bounce houses, foodtrucks, crafts, games, egg hunts, and a visit from the EasterBunny. Registration will begin at 10 AM and the egg hunt promptlyat 11:00 AM.

Jeanine added that there will be another Toddler Open Gym onMonday, April 10th from 10:30 – 12:00 at the CivicCenter. The cost is $3 per child.

Kristin said there is going to be a Borrow Pit Pond FishingDerby on Saturday, April 15th from 8 – 10 AM.Bring your fishing pole and tackle and bait will be provided. Thisevent will be shore fishing only. The age groups are as follows.The tadpoles are ages 3 – 5, half pints 6 – 8, andminnows 9 - 12 years old. The cost is $10 per child. Onlineregistration is available at https://www.stcloudfl.gov/.

Jeanine then shared the Caregiver Resource Fair on Saturday,April 15th from 10 – 2 PM. The event will includecommunity vendors, home maintenance services, home care assistance,education services, keynote speakers, screenings, emotional supportdogs, and more. There will be food trucks, raffles, and prizes.This is a free event put on by the city of Saint Cloud Florida.

Kristin announced another Toddler Open Gym on Monday, April17th from 10:30 – 12:00 at the Civic Center. Helpget your kid ready for school. The cost is $3 per child pervisit.

Adult Movie Matinee Featuring The Movie Trading PlacesOn April 19th

Jeanine gave the next event which is the Adult Movie Matinee forpeople 18 and over. The event will be held on Wednesday, April19th from 12:30 – 2:30 PM. The featured movie willbe Trading Places starring Dan Ackroyd and Eddie Murphy. This is afree event for all.

The next event announced by Kristin is an Adult Day Trip toWinter Park on Thursday, April 20th   This isan ala carte trip. The fee covers your round-trip pass on the sunrail. The train departs from the station in Kissimmee at 8:45 AM.The return train from Winter Park will depart at 4:30 PM. The costis $3.00 per person.

Jeanine shared the next event which will be Movie at The LakeFront Friday night April 21st from 7:30 – 10:00PM. This is a free event. The featured movie is Spiderman No WayHome starring Tom Holland.

The next event shared by Kristin is the Earth Day Celebration onSaturday, April 22nd which will have eco-friendly classes, papershredding truck, environmental exhibits, face painting, textilerecycling, local vendors, kids’ activities, battery recyclingand so much more. This event will be held at the St. CloudVeteran’s Memorial Library. This will be a free event from 10– 2 PM. For more information, you can email parksandrecreation@stcloud.org.

Another Toddler Open Gym on Monday, April 24th from10:30 – 12:00 at the Civic Center announced by Jeanine. Forthose with little ones come on down. The cost is $3 per child.

St. Cloud FL Monthly Market Event On April26th

Next is the downtown St. Cloud FL Monthly Market event on April26th from 5 – 9 PM. Jeanine and Kristin bothcommented on how this is always a fun event and always worthattending.

Harmony Florida Events In April 2023

On Saturday, April 1st from 3 – 5 PM, therewill be the Harmony FL Easter Eggstravaganza. There will be anEaster egg hunt, photo spots with Bunny’s, a DJ, games, facepainting, balloon animals, kid crafts, and food trucks. There willbe an easter egg hunt for kids 3 and under at 3:00 PM, ages 4– 6 at 3:10, ages 7 – 8 at 3:20 and ages 9 – 10at 3:30 PM. This is a free event for Harmony residents.

Kristin announced there will be a Easter service at the HarmonyCommunity Church on Sunday, April 9th at 8 AM. Jeaninesaid the next event is the Harmony Market which will be on SundayApril 16th from 10 – 2 PM. There will be lots ofvendors, food trucks, and lots of things to do. This event is opento everyone.
