Harmony FL September Market Happening At The HarmonyTown Square
Kristin then mentioned that the Harmony September Market willtake place on Sunday, Sept. 3rd and will includethe regular Farmer’s Market. It will take place at theHarmony Town Square from 10 – 2 PM. The market will havefresh produce, spices, plants, candles, body care, baked goods,nutrition, jewelry, customized items, food trucks and more. You can find yourbest path to a healthy and happier you. This event will besponsored by Help Against Hunger East Osceola. These are freeclasses that are held on the first Thursday of every month.Pre-registration is encouraged. It takes place at Hopkins Park from6:30 – 7:30 PM. Vendor positions are free to participate.Examples of what they are looking for but are not limited to arepainters, sketch artists, illustrators, impressionists, sculptors,metal artists, etc.

The next event given by Kristin on Sept. 21st is aMeet and Treat with Dr. Mark Shanoff who is the new superintendentof schools for Osceola County. This will be an event for allemployees, students, parents, and community members. The times willbe from 5-6 PM for employees and 6:15 – 7:15 PM for parents,students, and community members. It will be held at Saint Cloud FLhigh school.

Harmony Youth Football and Cheers 2nd AnnualGolf Tournament and Fund Raiser
Kristin then gave the next event which is the Harmony YouthFootball and Cheers 2nd Annual Golf Tournament and FundRaiser. This will take place on Sept. 24th at 8:00 AM atSt. Cloud Golf Links. Sponsors and golfers will enjoy 18 holes ofgolf with a cart. Each will have two drink tickets per golfer andthere will be golf swag bags for each golfer as well as games andprizes on and off the course. There will be a buffet lunch,refreshments, raffle items, and a silent auction.
The next event given by Jeanine on Sept. 26th is a Meet andTreat with Dr. Mark Shanoff who is the new superintendent ofschools for Osceola County. This is another chance to meet Dr.Shanoff. This will be an event for all employees, students,parents, and community members. The times will be from 5-6 PM foremployees and 6:15 – 7:15 PM for parents, students, andcommunity members. It will be held at Saint Cloud FL highschool.
Kristin then announced an Adult Lunch & Learn event onsuicide prevention on Sept. 27th. Learn the warningsigns, risk factors, and effective ways to communicate aboutsuicide. This event will be sponsored by Devoted Health.Reservations are required by Sept. 22nd to ensureeveryone receives a meal. The event will be held from 11 – 1PM at the Marina Banquet Hall.
