Kristin started by sharing that spring break is this month.Jeanine said to remind her of when it is so she can avoid thebeaches and parks. Kristin said she and her family would be headingto the beach to catch some rays and relax.

Jeanine kicked it off and gave the first event happening inMarch. There will be an adult day trip to the Strawberry Festivalon Thursday, March 2nd at Plant City in Tampa. The townof Saint Cloud is having a bus trip. The fee includes round-triptransportation, gate admission Oakridge Boys concert, strawberryshortcake, and free entertainment throughout the park. Dinner andgratuity are also included at Fred’s Market.
The bus leaves at 7:30 AM on March 2nd, returning at8:00 PM. Everyone will meet at the Community Center and the fee perperson is $105. For more information call them at 407-957-7243 andthey would be happy to help you.
St. Cloud FL Peghorn Homestead Picnic Promoting A LifeOf Self-Sufficiency
Kristin shared the next event, which is the Peghorn HomesteadPicnic, which is a free event celebrating homesteading, a lifestyleof self-sufficiency. There will be live music, blacksmithingdemonstrations, nature trail hikes, horseshoe games, local vendors,giveaways, and classes on homesteading such as canning, beekeeping,and gardening. This event will take place on Saturday, March4th from 10 AM – 2 PM at Peghorn Nature Park.
Jeanine then shared the Help Osceola remove invasive plantsevent to be held on Saturday, March 4th from 10 –12 PM at the Peghorn Nature Park. Students can earn volunteerhours. Gloves will be provided. Please wear closed-toed shoes andappropriate attire for working outside. This is a free event.
The next event Kristin said is the Special Needs and InclusionResource Fair on Saturday, March 4th from 11 – 2PM at the Saint Cloud FL Civic Center. There will be free resourcesand activities for children and their families of all abilities.Parents can learn about resources available from a variety ofdisability organizations in Osceola and Orange Counties.
Jeanine said this is a big event. The Whiskey in the Cloud eventis on Saturday, March 4th from 5 – 9 PM and thelocation is the downtown St. Cloud FL historic district. You willget to enjoy tasting samples from a variety of premium craft andboutique spirits and meet their brand ambassadors. There will belive music all night. Participating restaurants and bars willwelcome all downtown guests.
The Inaugural Whiskey Festival On March 4thin St. Cloud Florida
This is an inaugural whiskey festival. You must be 21 years oldto participate. IDs will be checked at the festival entrance andcredentials will be issued. The prices are $45 up to $150 perperson. Kristin added that $45 is the general admission. The $150ticket is VIP access which has access to all, early access toevents, and VIP tent access with a tasting of specialty spirits notavailable to general admission ticket holders. VIP ticket holderswill also receive a premium gift bag with a bottle of whiskey andcigars with coupons to local restaurants.
Kristin then announced the Toddler Open Gym Monday, March6th from 10:30 – 12 PM at the St. Cloud CivicCenter. Enjoy quality time with your kids while they get to enjoywhat they love. The benefits for your children will be motor skillssupport and early brain development, enhanced social skills, andmuch more. The cost is $3 per child per visit.
Jeanine announced that Spring Break in St. Cloud FL will be fromMarch 11th – 19th. Kristin said thesenext events will be available to do during spring break if youcurrently do not have plans.
Kristin shared the Kids Night Out event on Friday night March10th from 6 – 9 PM for ages 5 – 14 and theprice includes a pizza dinner, games, bounce houses, and more. Itwill be held at the St. Cloud Civic Center and the ticket price is$15 per child.
Adult Movie Matinee At The Saint Cloud CommunityCenter
Adult Movie Matinee Jeanine stated will take place on Wednesday,March 15th from 12:30 – 2:30 PM. The featuredmovie will be “Uncharted” starring Tom Holland, MarkWahlberg, and Antonio Banderas. The movie is rated PG-13. The moviewill be shown at the Saint Cloud Community Center. It is a freeevent.
Kristin then shared that there will be another Toddler Open Gymon Monday, March 20th from 10:30 – 12:00 PM at theSt. Cloud Civic Center. The cost is $3 per child per visit.
Jeanine added the next event, which is Donuts with Grownups willtake place on Thursday, March 23rd.
Bring your little ones for donut decorating immediately followingstory time at Z & Q Boutique. The cost is $25 per family.
Kristin shared there will be another Toddler Open Gym on Monday,March 27th from 10:30 – 12:00 PM. The cost is $3per child per visit. She then asked Jeanine to share the HarmonyFlorida-specific events.
Harmony Florida Events Happening In March2023
Jeanine said for Harmony specifically there will be a MarketEvent on March 19th at the Town Square from 10 – 2PM. There will be food trucks, vendors, and lots of fun stuff todo.
Kristin then said the Harmony FL Spring Garage Sale is onSaturday, March 25th from 8 AM to 3 PM. She said a lotof people participate and there are a lot of items given away andsold.
