Harmony Florida Summer Events 2022 Presented By JeanineCorcoran
Jeanine is the broker of the Corcoran Connect. She is joined byher co-host Kristin Macari owner of Studio Nine 13. During the 20thepisode of Discover Harmony Florida Jeanine and Kristin discuss allthe fun events planned for the summer now that thekids are out of school.
Kristin stated most people will be at the beach, pool, or onvacation over summer break. She asked Jeanine what events areplanned in Harmony for this summer? Jeanine said there is a poolparty on Saturday, May 28th taking place from 11 –2 PM. The pool party is put on by the Harmony activities director,Jennifer Abramson. There will be a DJ with games and prizes so itshould be a fun day!

Kristin then moved onto events happening in St. Cloud, FL forthis summer and asked Jeanine what the first event was? Jeaninesaid the city of Saint Cloud is doing what is called a“Summer’s Kid Flick” starting on Tuesday, June14th and running every Tuesday after that at leastthrough June.
The Summer Kids Flicks starts on June 14th at 10:30AM and goes to about noon. The first movie shown will be“Luca” which is rated PG and is free to view. Yourchildren must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The movieswill be shown at the St. Cloud Community Center.

Then Kristin said the movie showing on Tuesday, June21st is “All Dogs Go To Heaven” and on the28th, the movie Raya and The Last Dragon will befeatured. A good lineup of movies for kids to enjoy. Ages 12 andunder will be free for this movie.
Jeanine then added that they have a dinner cruise planned forFriday, June 17th going out down by Crabby Bill’sfor the adults. The cost is $50, and you have to be there by7:00 pm. The dinner goes until 10:30 pm and is at the Saint CloudMarina.
Kristin shared that on Sunday, June 19th we haveJuneteenth Movie in the Park, and this is for adults and children.Jeanine said you can bring your chairs, and blankets, and bringyour family for the evening and enjoy the cinema, food, and fun.The movie event will be from 7:30 – 10:00 PM atHopkin’s Park on 620 E. 17th street in St.Cloud.
Jeanine then added that on Wednesday, June 22nd from11 – 1 PM at the Marina Bouquet Hall they are holding anevent about men’s health. You can attend and learn about howto take care of your health.
To finish the month of June on Tuesday the 28th at10:30 AM at the St. Cloud Community Center the movie Raya and TheLast Dragon will be featured for everyone to enjoy. Kristin saiddon’t forget about the Monthly Market in downtown St. Cloudon the last Wednesday of each month.
St. Cloud FL Girls Soccer Club Heading To Texas For USRegional President’s Cup
Kristin shared that the St. Cloud Girls’ Soccer Club willbe traveling to participate in Texas to play in the US RegionalPresident’s Cup. This event is being held June14th – 19th. She said that this eventis a really big deal for these girls. St. Cloud is a small town andit’s a small soccer club and most people write you offbecause you don’t have all the dollars behind you.
Kristin continued that a lot of the teams have girls onscholarships. The St. Cloud girls’ soccer team won theFlorida President’s Cup. They battled some top-tier teams,and they are U19 which means every girl on the team needs to be 19or under. They played a lot of teams that had rosters of justseniors in high school. She said in comparison, our team because weare such a small club has a mix of girls and some are evenfreshmen.
Kristin said it is going to cost close to $30K to get the teamto Texas. That price includes plane tickets, rental cars, and hotelstay. There is some fundraising going on in St. Cloud and Jeanineherself wrote a check to support the team. Jeanine and Kristinstated how proud they are of the girls!
